This issue of the Shield highlights the 2026 celebration of Shiloh’s Black History Month through its reporting on special programs by church auxiliaries/organizations, including our choirs’ singing of hymns and songs of the Black Church, welcomed the Heritage Festival of Negro Spirituals (Clarence Jones, Jr. / Founder-Director), and the wearing of Afro-centric attire during worship services. Readers will enjoy the Pastor’s Column on what must be done aer experiencing the annual “Road to Renewal;” features, such as Shiloh’s members who are military veterans, the Work of our Food Ministry, the 2025 Angel Tree Project, and much more. We believe what is shared will not only enlighten but also remind readers of God’s grace and faithfulness and of Shiloh’s contributions to local, state, and national communities. Editor Sis. As we go today, give us discernment. Make us wise enough not embrace every message that comes our way, but courageous enough to test each one by the liberating truth of Christ. In His name we pray. AMEN!
