    Shiloh’s Annual Vacation Bible School & Summer Discipleship Institute for all ages is June 22nd – 26th    5:30 p.m.– 7:30 p.m. daily This year’s theme, “Freedom Train.” Theme Scripture: When he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, he went to the synagogue on the Sabbath day, as was his custom. He stood up to read, 17 and the scroll of the prophet Isaiah was given to him. He unrolled the scroll and found the place where it was written:  18 “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to bring good news to the poor.     Scholarship Sunday will be observed June 28, 2026 in ONE WORSHIP SERVICE (11:00 a.m.).  In that worship, we will announce our 2026 Scholarship recipients, and we will recognize all of our graduates from the summer & fall of 2025 and the spring 2026.   • On Sunday, August 9th we will celebrate Shiloh’s 154th Church Anniversary

    Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church was organized in 1872 as an evangelistic endeavor of Virginia Missionaries, and has enjoyed 154 years as a harmonious congregation of Jesus Christ without a split. Shiloh has had only five Pastors in its 154-year history—George Byrd, Jack Mitchell, Dudley Turnbull Smith, Charles Turnbull Smith, and our current Pastor, Fred Jeff Smith.  On Sunday, August 9th we will have one worship service at 11:00 a.m., where we will celebrate Shiloh’s 154th Church Anniversary.  We are asking you to give a special love gift to the church of $1 for every year the Church has been in existence, $154.
