The National Alumnae Association of Spelman College Baton Rouge Chapter to host the Spelman College Glee Club

The National Alumnae Association of Spelman College Baton Rouge Chapter is excited to host the Spelman College Glee Club in concert after a three-year hiatus! Since 1924, the Glee Club has maintained a reputation for choral excellence and performs a repertoire that includes selections from world cultures, commissioned works, sacred and secular choral literature Negro spirituals, and music by African American composers. Internationally, the Glee Club has traveled to Canada, Brazil, Italy, and most recently Portugal for the 2019 Terras sem Sombra Festival. The concert will be March 11, 2023, 5:00 pm, at the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 185 Eddie Robinson Sr. Drive, Baton Rouge, LA. This concert is free to the public. 2023 SUMMER YOUTH ENRICHMENT PROGRAM APPLICATION HERE

  Summer Youth Enrichment 2023!! Shiloh Charitable Foundation is sponsoring a Summer Youth Enrichment Program designed for youth between the ages of 14 to 18 years old.   Youth will be placed on jobs of their vocational interest.  Applications are available for pickup from the Charitable Foundation and Church Offices.  The program starts June 2, 2023 and ends July 14, 2023 total of 6 weeks. MARY BIRD PERKINS COMMUNITY LISTENING SESSION – JOIN US

The Shiloh Sisterhood Ministry is partnering with Mary Bird Perkins' research team for a Community Listening Session. Purpose: To gain a better understanding of the barriers to cancer care, healthcare experiences and support service needs of the North Baton Rouge community. Target Audience: Residents of zip codes 70802, 70805, 70806, 70807, 70811, 70812, 70814 and 70815. Cancer survivors, cancer patients and cancer caregivers are encouraged to attend. Must be 18 years and older to participate. What’s Involved: Engage in a facilitated conversation by sharing your experiences and viewpoints. Information shared will remain anonymous, but be used to address the most important concerns related to health equity in cancer care. Other: Refreshments provided and giveaways during the event.
