WE ARE BACK IN THE SANCTUARY!! SHILOH MBC REOPENING GUIDELINES

We are Re-opening on March 13, 2022, with worship at 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. As we welcome you back into the Sanctuary, please note the following: We will continue with our Modified Order of Worship. We are asking that you wear masks and exercise social distance. We will have masks and sanitizer on hand. The sanctuary will be sanitized between worship experiences. We are asking you to assist us by remaining out of the sanctuary between 9:30 a.m. and 10:30a.m. We will continue with small groups rendering music until the Music Ministry is ready to retu1n to choirs. Ushers are asked to serve. No return to worship folders; we will rely on the screens. Bus service will resume on March 20, but riders must wear mask. Offering may be placed in secure receptacles located at the three entrances, or you may continue to use electronic giving or mail. Virtual Sunday...

JOIN US AS WE CELEBRATE 150 YEARS OF SERVICE at 11 A M

Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church was organized in 1872 as an evangelistic endeavor of Virginia Missionaries, and has enjoyed 150 years as a harmonious congregation of Jesus Christ without a split. Shiloh has had only five Pastors in its 150-year history—George Byrd, Jack Mitchell, Dudley Turnbull Smith, Charles Turnbull Smith, and our current Pastor, Fred Jeff Smith.  On Sunday, August 14th we will have one worship service at 11:00 a.m., where will celebrate Shiloh’s 150th Church Anniversary.

The National Alumnae Association of Spelman College Baton Rouge Chapter to host the Spelman College Glee Club

The National Alumnae Association of Spelman College Baton Rouge Chapter is excited to host the Spelman College Glee Club in concert after a three-year hiatus! Since 1924, the Glee Club has maintained a reputation for choral excellence and performs a repertoire that includes selections from world cultures, commissioned works, sacred and secular choral literature Negro spirituals, and music by African American composers. Internationally, the Glee Club has traveled to Canada, Brazil, Italy, and most recently Portugal for the 2019 Terras sem Sombra Festival. The concert will be March 11, 2023, 5:00 pm, at the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 185 Eddie Robinson Sr. Drive, Baton Rouge, LA. This concert is free to the public.
