2022 SUMMER YOUTH ENRICHMENT PROGRAM

2022 Summer Youth Enrichment Application period has begun!     Shiloh Baptist Church Charitable Foundation is sponsoring a summer youth work program. This program is designed for youth between the ages of 14 and 18 years old. Those accepted in the program have the opportunity to spend 4 weeks, starting, Friday, June 3, 2022 (Orientation) ending Friday July 1, 2022 obtaining valuable work experience. In addition, participants receive a stipend. The program is funded by Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church Charitable Foundation. Students work Monday through Thursday 16 hours a week at their placement sites and on Friday attend 4 hour life skills workshops. Topics include self improvement, leadership, community service and Bible Study. If you are interested in this program, please neatly complete the attached application and return by the deadline. THE BRCC COLLEGE TO CHURCH INITIATIVE

The new initiative is designed to make opportunities available for more underserved individuals throughout the Baton Rouge area, with BRCC bringing services to the community and meeting people where they are.  The College to Church initiative will provide access to education, including earning a high school diploma, earning industry-based training credentials, or certifications to meet the growing demand for skilled workers in industries for successful careers. Participants will be paired with financial support opportunities such as the MJ Foster Promise Program or FAFSA application assistance.   Come out and learn more about earning your high school diploma, industry-based training credentials, certifications, or your degree.
