Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church was organized in 1872 as an evangelistic endeavor of Virginia Missionaries, and has enjoyed 150 years as a harmonious congregation of Jesus Christ without a split. Shiloh has had only five Pastors in its 150-year history—George Byrd, Jack Mitchell, Dudley Turnbull Smith, Charles Turnbull Smith, and our current Pastor, Fred Jeff Smith.  On Sunday, August 14th we will have one worship service at 11:00 a.m., where will celebrate Shiloh’s 150th Church Anniversary. 

Prayer-by-Phone is each Monday, Wednesday and Friday, at 6:00 a.m., led by Rev. Emanuel Smith, Minister of Community Outreach, and Min. Rodney Johnson. We are also expanding our Prayer-by-Phone by adding an evening opportunity, Monday – Friday, at 6:00 p.m. The Pastor will be leading the evening prayer calls. WE ARE THANKFUL! We will celebrate Thanksgiving with a one-hour worship experience on Thanksgiving morning, beginning at 9:00 a.m.  We encourage those members, family and friends that will be in the city to gather with us and offer thanks to God for the many blessings He has bestowed upon us.  

The entire Shiloh Church Family is invited to our Annual Fall Festival on Sunday, October 29th immediately following the 8:00 a.m. worship service. We will have games, activities, and breakfast for all.  We will also host the infamous "Cake Walk." Please let us know if you want to bake a cake--or cakes--for this family friendly test of wills and stamina.  We welcome any candy donations in the administrative office by October 26th.  Also, if you are interested in volunteering for this year's event, please call the Church Office.
