FREE DRIVE THRU COVID-19 TESTING

Southeast Community Health Systems will provide free drive thru COVID-19 testing on Monday, August 3, 2020 from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm at Shiloh. Pre-registration is not required but highly encouraged to expedite testing. A face covering is required during the drive thru. ID is required for testing. Please bring medical insurance card. Medical insurance is not required for testing. All children under the age of 18, must be accompanied by an adult. To register and get more information call 985/981-4743.

Zoom is a user-friendly computer program that allows group participation by smart phone, desktop computer, laptop or tablet from anywhere, at any time. ZOOM allows us to teach, meet, learn, and fellowship with each other face-to-face while practicing social distance at the same time! 2020 Virtual Summer Discipleship Institute Announcement The 2020 Virtual Summer Discipleship Institute is less than two weeks away!  On Monday, August 31st through Friday, September 4th at 6:30 p.m., we will gather on Zoom for a time of fun, fellowship and study of God’s word.  Our theme this year is Champions in Life. Brother Ron Markham and Minister Patsy Wilkerson are teaching the adult classes, Minister Troy Kennedy will teach the teens, and Deacon Samuel Culbert and Sister Ida Holmes are teaching the children. INTERFAITH SOUNDS OF COMMUNITY VIRTUAL CONCERT

Sunday, November 15, 4 pm Please register for this free, virtual event.  The 30th Annual Sounds of CommUNITY concert will be a virtual event due to COVID-19. Be inspired by this "Musical Mosaic of Hope" as we allow the power of music to bring harmony to our lives and community. The late Rev. Charles T. Smith began this concert series while he served as president of the Federation, believing music has the power to bring unity to a commUNITY. This year’s concert includes tributes to Rev. Charles T. Smith by local leaders. Approximately 40 million American adults still smoke, and tobacco use remains the single largest preventable cause of disease and premature death in the country. The event challenges people to quit on  that day our use the day to make a plan to quit. COMMUNITIES OF COLOR NETWORK IS A TABACCO INITIATIVE TO HELP ERADICATE TOBACCO USAGE, PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL AND CESSATION RESOURCES.
