SHILOH BAPTIST CHURCH 2021 SCHOLARSHIPS SCHOLARSHIPS 2021   Shiloh Baptist Church Scholarships Program Requirements: Must have participated in church ministries/school/community activities, Zoom Sunday school/Bible study, etc., within the current or previous year. Overall church/school/community participation, essay, and personal recommendations from church/teacher/school principal, must be a minimum of 30 points. Must be a member of Shiloh for at least one year. Must be a high school graduate or enrolled in a university, community college or technical college. Must use funds for undergraduate studies. Must have at least a 2.5 GPA. Eleven scholarships may be awarded up to $50,000.  The deadline to return applications is May 31, 2021. DUMAS/ SHILOH BAPTIST CHURCH 2021 SCHOLARSHIP Dear Applicant, Thank you for applying for the Shiloh Baptist Church Foundation/Walter C. Dumas Scholarship. This scholarship was established to honor high school seniors who are committed to achieving racial harmony and who value diversity. Three awards are presented to students of three different ethnic backgrounds. Each student is required as part of the application process to submit essays on racial harmony and the value of diversity. Members of Shiloh Baptist Church are ineligible to apply. Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church was organized in 1872 as an evangelistic endeavor of Virginia Missionaries, and has enjoyed 150 years as a harmonious congregation of Jesus Christ without a split. Shiloh has had only five Pastors in its 150-year history—George Byrd, Jack Mitchell, Dudley Turnbull Smith, Charles Turnbull Smith, and our current Pastor, Fred Jeff Smith.  On Sunday, August 14th we will have one worship service at 11:00 a.m., where will celebrate Shiloh’s 150th Church Anniversary.
