Shiloh’s Annual Vacation Bible School and Summer Discipleship Institute
Shiloh’s Annual Vacation Bible School & Summer Discipleship Institute for all ages is 5:30 – 7:30 p. m. daily, June 16th – 20th and we are excited about this year’s theme, “Live It Out: Practicing God’s Love.”
Theme Scriptures:
“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. Keep these words that I am commanding you today in your heart. Recite them to your children and talk about them when you are at home and when you are away, when you lie down and when you rise. Bind them as a sign on your hand, fix them as an emblem on your forehead, and write
them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates. (Deuteronomy 6:5-9, NRSVue)
“Teacher, which commandment in the law is the greatest?” He said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the greatest and first commandment. And a second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.” (Matthew 22:36-40, NRSVue)
