Rites of Passage (Mentoring)

Rites of Passage is a mentoring program based on the West African tradition of transitioning girls and boys into young adulthood through a sustained period of instruction, study and exposure to culturally-specific life experiences. At Shiloh, the rights of passage program combines biblical teaching, instruction on African American history and culture, etiquette training, organized field excursions along with group and individual mentoring for youth.
