Mayor-President Broome’s vision “is to create a celebration for the entire city with the goal of commemorating the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King\, Jr. through establishing and reinforcing the work being done by government agencies\, community non-profit organizations\, and private citizens to promote peace and non-violence locally and around the world.”\n‍\nMLK Holiday BR 2023 will not only bring together diverse people to inspire and be inspired through service\, but to advance our community through three key themes: literacy\, youth empowerment\, and equity and justice as well.
