NOVEMBER 18th ANNOUNCEMENTS
Welcome to Shiloh! We hope that you feel at home and among friends. The Pastor and Minister of Christian Education are in Denver, Colorado today, attending the annual joint gathering of the Society of Biblical Literature and the American Academy of Religion. Preaching here today will be Minister Patsy Wilkerson (8:00 a.m.) and Minister Rodney Johnson (11:00 a.m.). We solicit your prayers for them, that the Lord may use them in a mighty way, as they share the Word with us. If you are without a Church home, we hope that you will be inspired by your worship with us and consider making Shiloh your Church home.
Our Annual Fall Revival will be held Monday-Wednesday, November 26-28. Complimentary Dinner will be served each night, beginning at 5:30 p.m. Praise and Worship will begin at 6:50 p.m., and Preaching service will begin at 7:00 p.m. Our Evangelist will be Dr. Errol K. Domingue, Pastor of the Elm Grove Baptist Church. Dr. Domingue is a Prolific Preacher and a conscientious Community Leader, with a relevant Word for a time such as this. Please begin now praying for our Revival, make plans to be present for each night of the Revival, and invite someone to come and share with us in Revival.
Leading up to our Fall Revival, we will have an “Old-Fashioned Song Service,” on Sunday, November 25, beginning at 4:00 p.m. The old hymns of the Church, sung in traditional ways, along with traditional prayer and praise, will be featured in this worship experience. It promises to be an inspiring experience that will set the atmosphere for our Revival. Please plan to be present.
We will have our Annual Thanksgiving Worship on November 22, at 9:00 a.m. It will be a one-hour worship experience. We invite you to come and share with us, as we offer praise to our Lord for the many blessings that He has bestowed upon us.
As we prepare to celebrate Thanksgiving, there will be no Mid-Week Bible Study this week, neither at Noon nor at 6:30 p.m. Moreover, there will be no Bible Study next week as we will be in our Revival. Bible Study will resume on Wednesday, December 5. Plan to be with us at that time.
As we near the end of 2018, we encourage each member to take the initiative to invite someone to come with you to worship. We are calling this initiative, “Each One, Reach One!” In the weeks that remain in 2018, we should act on our Lord’s charge to each of us to, “Be witnesses for Him.” Prayerfully give us your support.
